All classes will be held in room B-21 (lower level) of the Jacob Solin Center for Business Education on the main campus of Gogebic Community College in Ironwood from 5-8pm CST on the listed days above.
Cost: $240 for the course which includes a $20 booklet
The 15 hours of instruction will also include individual flight time by the students.
Students participating in the class will receive a FREE mini-drone ($20 value).
Only 30 students will be accepted into this course.
Drone Operations Facilitator/Instructor: Todd Gibbon, of Ashland, WI
Gibbon received his FAA part 107 Unmanned Aircraft rating in 2016 and worked as an airplane mechanic before becoming a civil engineer. In Gibbon’s engineering work, he used drones for topographic surveying, creating aerial mosaics and monitoring changes in vegetation.
