Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social worker with experience in higher education, foster care and adoption and mental health. Jessica received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University. Jessica enjoys coaching volleyball, kayaking, skiing, biking and spending time with her family.

Tara Tregembo is the TRiO Student Support Services Coordinator. Tara has worked for the TRiO Program since 2013 and has taught adjunct Psychology and Sociology courses for Gogebic. She received her Associate’s degree in Psychology from Gogebic, her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northern Michigan University and her Master’s degree in Psychology from Walden University.  Tara enjoys basketball, running and spending time with her family and three kids (German Shepherds).

Michaela Perlberg is a licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Counselor at GCC. She obtained her Associates degree in Psychology from Gogebic Community College, Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from UW- Superior and Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from University Minnesota – Duluth. While attending school in Superior/ Duluth area she was employed as a Substance Abuse Counselor and has 5 years’ experience in the field of addictions and mental health.  She is passionate in educating others and giving students a deeper meaning towards a more fulfilling life and career.

Angie received an Associate of Science Degree at UW Barron County in Rice Lake. She also attended UWGB and NMU, working towards a degree in Elementary Education. Angie stayed at home to raise her children and is now working part time as the TRiO Assistant. Angie is here to help in any way that she can.
